Trust in the Lord   3/01/89

I saw a boat with the disciples in it. They were in the midst of the sea being tossed by the waves. It was dark and stormy. I saw Jesus walk on the water towards them. Then I saw Peter climb out of the boat and begin walking on the water towards Jesus. Suddenly, he looked down at the water and began sinking. He reached out, and Jesus caught his hand and lifted him up. They walked back and got in the boat. The vision ended. Then the Lord then spoke and said: “So many of My people are sitting in the boat. They will not step out in faith and leave the security they think they have. But tell Me, what if the boat sinks, or over turns? Will they not find themselves in the water anyway? They are trusting in things and not in Me. They are not as truly secure as they think themselves to be. They trust in money from their jobs to supply their needs It is their boat. But what if their boat should sink and they lose their jobs? Was it not I who gave them the job to begin with? Can I not give them another, if they will only trust Me? You have your eyes on the boat and not on He who gave you the boat and is able to provide another and to keep you afloat. I am your supplier. When will you learn this? You trust in your studies, your intellect, your abilities, but are not these all gifts from Me? Why do you lean on all these things as your security, but not lean on He who gave you these things? Oh you of little faith! You do not truly know the hand that sustains you. There are few who walk out in faith trusting in Me. Most of My people stay in the boat. Of those who step out, many begin to look at the circumstances and quickly sink in fear. Where is the man of faith? There are only a few. Only a few walk with their eyes fixed upon Me and with faith in their hearts. Through them I can move mightily, for they do not doubt Me. It is My will that all should come to believe like this. Many of you are too timid to try, or too comfortable where you are at. I call to you to walk in faith; I will catch you if you fall; but you will not even try. It does not please Me if you refuse to try. I am pleased with those who try, even though they fall; if they keep trying, I am pleased. But you who will not try: the hour comes when your boats will sink and you will find yourselves in the water fighting for your lives. You will be forced to look to Me and trust Me, or you will perish. Those who enter My Kingdom must walk by faith, or they cannot enter.” Scrip. Ref: Mat.14:22-32

 

Messages to the USA, Venezuela, Jerusalem   3/04/89

I was seeking the Lord's will as to where we were to go; He showed me this vision: I saw two candles; one was new and was just lit. The other was old, melted low, and the flame was almost out. The Lord told me that the new candle was Venezuela; the great out pouring of His Spirit was just beginning there. The melted candle was the United States, and it was about to go out. He told me a great time of darkness was coming upon my nation. I saw a darkness, a blackness everywhere; yet upon the hill tops, I could see a light that was shining in the darkness. The Lord told me He would not leave us in utter darkness; He would leave a light, so some might find their way out of the darkness and come back to Him. He told me this light was the light of revival among the Latin people in the United States. Then I saw the wailing wall in Jerusalem. I saw people crying at the wall, and putting their petitions in the cracks of the wall. I saw some American people in churches, wailing at the altars saying: “God, send down the fire of revival once again; let your Spirit flow once again!” The Lord said: “Even as they wail at the wall for Jerusalem and for the temple to be rebuilt, so shall many weep in the United States for the church, that My Spirit might once again pour forth; I say unto them, I shall not send forth revival until I have broken the backs of the proud in this nation. For only when this nation is humbled to her knees, will she truly seek Me once again.” Personal note: In the many Hispanic churches we have been in across the nation, we have seen a great move of God. There is a great hunger. Many who came to this nation to find jobs and a better life have come to know the Lord here in the United States. They are seeking God and His Spirit is moving among them in a way that I am not seeing in the American churches.

 

Message to America   3/05/89

I saw a man in a suit who was obviously ill. The Lord spoke this word: The palms are sweaty, his vision is blurred; he has difficulty breathing, his heart is pounding, and his head is light; yet still he staggers to maintain his image and to say all is well. He has been dealt a severe blow, but he will not concede it. He will not ask for help; he will not ask for mercy. He straightens his coat, his tie, and tries to continue to walk, as if nothing has happened. Do you recognize this man? He is your nation, the United States of America. People are dying in her streets. People are sick, yet it is hidden, because of the image they must maintain. They deal with everything as if it was business as usual, but they are falling. They cannot withstand another blow. Why will they not humble themselves and call out to Me? The nation is being eroded through disease. The plague is taking multitudes daily, and they have no answer. But they choose to try to sweep it in a corner and hide it, rather than confess they are near destruction, and call upon their God. I, and I alone, says the Lord, can stop this plague! I am the only cure, the only way! But you continue to stagger, saying: “We are able; we shall find a way”. You think yourselves to be wise and powerful, yet you are feeble and foolish. You do not even recognize you are defeated by an enemy you have no power against. He has entered and destroyed your defenses; millions of you he has taken over. You are marked for death, and there is no escape that you can invent. Why will you not bow your knees and recognize you are defeated? Why will you not surrender your pride and seek your God? I have allowed this to come upon you that you might finally return to Me, but you continue to stagger on your own. I have held out My hand to you, but you reject My hand. You say in your pride: “It shall be my way, or no way”. You do not want to submit neither give up your wicked ways. You would rather die with your pride, doing what you please, then repent and obey your God. Who has seen such a rebellious people, such a hard generation? There are none other like you, in your pride and desires to please yourselves. But you shall be seen before the nations not as the great dream of prosperity and freedom, but as a sickly defeated people who forgot their God. Before the nations you shall be an example of a people gone astray. Many shall learn from your waywardness, to flee from such carnal lusts like yours, and fear God, which you have not done. In this you serve as an example: The way that they should not go! Oh you, who were called to be a light, a shining example of that which is right, now have become an example of a people gone wrong. Surely, the consequences must be seen, that others will fear to follow in your footsteps. But oh, how I desire, that you might return, that I might make of you an example of a nation restored by the grace of God. How you are fallen, yet you cannot see; you are blind; you are so taken by your selfishness and pride. You will continue falling until you hit bottom, if you do not repent quickly. But even My warning you refuse to hear. You are deaf to My voice and My warnings go unheard.”Personal note: HIV has spread and continues to spread at an alarming rate. At first it was in the news, but more and more it is being down played, yet the cases of those becoming infected continues to grow.

 

A Message to the Church 3/09/89

The Lord showed me a black garbage bag laying on the side of the road. I went and opened it. Inside I saw a golden candlestick with seven candle holders. I saw golden bowls and other precious things were inside. I saw a Bible but it had only some pages. It was thrown out in the street in this black garbage bag, with all these valuable things inside! It was thrown out behind the church. I saw a man, dressed in a suit inside the church. He was alone, and I could see him secretly taking some pages which he had torn from the Bible and glued them together into a new Bible. He place them in order, then he shut the book and it was now a much thinner Bible. He sighed and said: “Now we have the parts that edify, the parts that don't offend, the parts I preach from, and not the rest; that is of no use; they are in the way.” Then I saw a church office and a secretary with files in her hands. The pastor told her to re-file these files according to priority. I saw the labels: “church activities”, “planning committee”, “fund raisers”, “new membership”, “announcements”, “sermons”, and “music”. At the back of the drawer was a section marked “obsolete”. There she filed: “prophecy”, “gifts of the Spirit”, Ministering to the needy”, “evangelism”, and “visiting the sick”. The pastor said they wanted to “streamline” the system. They did not want anything that made people uncomfortable, extended the services past a reasonable hour, took money away from the building fund, such as giving to the poor, or hindered the prosperous growth of the church, or tired the congregation so that they would not be able to be a part of the committees and fund raisers. Then I saw this wagon pulled by horses. In it was sitting a man dressed like a pastor and the back of the wagon had people in it. I saw the Holy Spirit sitting in the seat next to the pastor. He was a shiny, warm, white silhouette, glistening in glory. He reached and took the reins and the horses began to move. They moved along a narrow path that leaded up to heaven. Then suddenly, the pastor yanked the reins from the Holy Spirit and began snapping them hard, driving the horses hard. The Holy Spirit warned him to stop, but he did not listen. The path parted in two, and the pastor led the wagon off the straight narrow path on to the wide path to the left. I saw demons jump on the wagon, dressed in suits, wearing masks with very dignified, smiling faces. They began to cheer the driver on. “Faster, faster”, they called. The Holy Spirit tried to reach for the reins, but the pastor shoved him away. “Keep going!” cried the demons. The Holy Spirit spoke and said: “Stop! Please stop!” But the demons shouted: “Shut Him up!” The pastor tied His hands and bound His mouth, but He broke free and said: “Please hear Me before it is too late! Stop!” But the demons continued to urge the driver on. The pastors eyes were now wide with fury. “Stop!”, yelled the Holy Spirit. The demons yelled back to the driver: “Throw Him off! Throw Him off! He's going to ruin everything!” The pastor pushed the Holy Spirit off of the wagon. The demons laughed and screamed: “Go faster, go faster!” I saw the Holy Spirit standing on the roadside with His arms stretched out towards the wagon that was racing away. Then I could see the wagon approaching a cliff. Below were the fires of hell. Suddenly, the wagon went over the cliff into hell, with the pastor and people, but the demons stripped off their costumes and floated into the air laughing. They began to look for another wagon. I saw the Holy Spirit sadly lower His arms, and glistening drops began to hit the road, they were teardrops. The Lord spoke and said: “The days are shortened; tell My church, she will be judged. All sins shall be forgiven, but one, the blasphemy of My Holy Spirit. They have pushed My Spirit aside; they have quenched His power; they have grieved His heart. But now they have even begun to accuse the work He does and say it is not of God. They silence His voice through the prophets, saying they speak through a false spirit. They blaspheme the Spirit of God Almighty in their arrogance and unbelief. It was enough that they pushed Him aside and rejected Him, but now they openly attack Him saying His voice is the voice of someone's flesh, or of a false spirit! They choose to believe a lie, and to say the truth is a lie. They call My Spirit a liar! Yea, the days have been shortened and you shall plunge to the reward that awaits you for such blasphemy! You have rejected the power of God unto righteousness, even My Holy Comforter; now you shall feel the power of God towards the unrighteous. Oh you who are driven on such a wagon, hear not the voice of the driver. Flee and find forgiveness before you also become guilty and blaspheme the Holy Spirit as well. Leave from that place quickly! Come out from that evil leadership! Look at the signs I have given you in this message. If you are in such a church, flee while the wagon has not yet gone over the cliff! Quickly, for the days are shortened and the judgment fire is coming upon them; it is even now within sight!” Scrip. Ref: Rom. 8:13-17

 

Trusting God for Our Daily Needs   3/13/89

The Lord showed me a car, like a railroad car, on a track. It was moving along swiftly. The track before it was straight and long. There was a far distance to go. Then the Lord spoke and said: “There is a great distance yet to go in order to reach the level of faith that is needed for the days to come.” The Lord showed me the track again and the little car suddenly stopped, but then slowly started to go again, only to pick up speed and then came to another stop. The Lord said: “Every time there is fear or unbelief, the car stops. How can the little car reach where it needs to get to in time if it is constantly stopping? Even so it is with the servant who lets unbelief or fear in his life. Every time there is doubt, it stops his growth until he can overcome the obstacle. Yes, the days are quickly approaching where those that will survive are those who walk in faith. It will be impossible in your own strength, with your own efforts to provide for yourselves and your families. Those who have not learned to walk in faith will not be able to make it. Look at the miracle of the fish and bread; look at the widow whose oil and flour did not run out; look at the manna that was sent each day to the children of Israel. Have I changed? I have not! I am the same God, who is able to supply for you even as I did for them, but you must believe! When you believe, and not doubt, you are walking in the spiritual realm, in the miraculous realm. As long as you continue, miraculously it will continue to flow; your provisions will come to you. But when fear enters or unbelief, then you leave the spiritual realm of the ground of miracles, and you return to the carnal world, where everything is gained by strength. I move by My Spirit, through faith. In the spiritual realm nothing is impossible. If you step out of faith, then the laws of the carnal world apply. Can you not understand this? There is coming a time when fear and unbelief will be the two greatest enemies of the body of Christ. Pride will no longer be the great enemy, for the pride of man will have been brought low. You must learn now to reach the level of faith that is necessary to overcome in those days. You must learn to trust in Me and not look back, neither forward. Looking towards tomorrow's needs will only bring anxiousness and doubt. I will supply daily for your needs. For that reason I taught you to pray for your daily needs.” Scrip. Message to the Church in the United States   3/19/89

“Woe to My people; woe to them! I have spoken but they have not listened. Even so, I continue to speak to you. What father would remain silent while his son goes to destruction? I call you, yes, I call even though you ignore My voice, still I call to you. I do not desire to chastise you, nor see you bring destruction upon your own heads. I desire that you repent and consider your wayward ways. You are like the prodigal son, who left his father's house to go in search of the pleasures of the world. You have not consider your ways. If only you would listen to Me and return to the house of your Father! But you are not willing to leave the pleasures of the world neither the path of sin to return to the holiness of the house of your Father. Can you not see that you are dying from spiritual hunger? Oh come, that I might feed you! Leave your paths, those that lead to death, and return to My path. You trust in your riches, but soon they will slip through your fingers like sand. You trust in your youth and your strength, and refuse the medicine of My Word which is what made your bones so strong. Now, the sickness of your sin is corrupting your health, and you have gone far from your healer. Even so, I have My eyes upon you, waiting for a sign that would indicate you are willing to return to Me. I would hide you in My hand, and guard you from the fire that is coming. Why do you choose your own destructive devices instead of My path of peace? My eyes have filled with tears for you, for truly you have converted into the church of Laodocia, rich and enlarged, thinking you have need of no one, yet you do not notice that you are naked and filthy. You are despised among the nations, yet you do not know it. As long as you are prosperous, they will praise you with the lying lips, but when your prosperity is gone, they will turn against you. They conspire together and invent strategies against you, because they hate you for your pride, and they desire to see your destruction. Come quickly, you who still hear the voice of your God; come quickly to My safe harbor. Repent and be transformed by the power of My Word. Walk as children of your Father; blessed, holy, consecrated to Me, so that you will be able to be victorious in the days that lie ahead. In truth, My bride must cleanse herself if she is to be My bride. Cleanse yourselves! Wash from your sins and come to the purity of the Cross, so that you might be My holy bride. Seek Me, with all your heart and leave your wicked ways. Leave behind your love for possessions and things so that you can inherit the true riches that are in Me. If your eyes could only see the things which I have prepared for you, surely you would leave all behind in order to obtain the Kingdom of God. You have not seen, but it is written in My Word; is that not the same? Will you believe My promises and move in faith to obtain them, or will you continue on your path until you inherit nothing. My children, if you return to My house, the house of My Holy Father, and ask forgiveness, and walk in dignity and holiness as the child of your Holy Father, then I will go out to receive you. I will embrace you; I will bless you, and celebrate over you, says the Lord your God.” Scrip. Ref: I Cor. 2:9; I Pet. 1:15-16

 

A Vision Concerning the United States   3/19/89

The Lord gave me this vision: I saw the United States. I saw a wall all around the nation, which covered it completely. Then I saw a great wave come towards the west coast. It was a great wave that hit the wall and broke down some of the wall. The watchman was not alert and did not sound the alarm. The waves entered into the land. Then I saw what appeared to be a sledge hammer hit the wall in the southwest area of the wall, and it made holes in the wall. In the southeast I saw that beneath the wall the ground was sand, and the waves eroded the sand away and the wall began to crumble. In the northeast I saw the wall shaking over and over again until it began to break apart, and collapse. I saw the waters begin to enter through these openings. The water was dark and filthy, filled with garbage and scum. People were trying to clean the dirty waters from the land with whatever they had. But the night came, and they had not sealed the breaches in the wall, and as they were all busy, something began to happen without them noticing. A silent army entered through the breaches. They entered like ants, like a flood, throughout the night. When the sun arose, I could see the flag of the United States battered and torn. This army took down the flag and put up another flag. It was a white flag with a golden star upon it in the form of a pentagram, and a second flag that was scarlet with a golden dragon on it. I saw soldiers faces, but they were distorted, and some had faces of demons. They took bats and began to break the windows of churches, and they threw trash inside. They tore down the crosses they found and broke them. Some churches were burned, others were destroyed; some churches they boarded up the doors so no one could enter. I saw these soldiers take Christians while they were having services and throw them on the streets, beating them as they did. Some were beaten so badly that they were covered with blood, and they kicked them as well, saying: “You will not worship this Jewish Son of God anymore!” Then I heard them say: “First we will destroy the nation that adores this Jewish Son of God, then we will destroy the nation of the Father, even Israel.”

The Lesson of Gideon   3/21/89

The Lord showed me concerning Gideon. “There was a multitude with Gideon, but not all of them were fit for the battle ahead. So there was provided a test to prove those that were worthy soldiers indeed. Of those that past the test, there were not many, 300 alone. Then I sent them out against their enemy, but they were not to fight them in the usual manner. Each one was to carry a lamp and to blow the trumpet with all his might. The enemy saw this and scurried in fear of the great powerful army that was round about them. I did confuse the enemy, and they fell upon one another. Thus, I won the victory with a few in front of thousands. Lo, understand this, nothing is written in My Word without a purpose. The greatest battle of all times has come. The enemy is great in number. My children are many, but not all of them are fit. There are those who will not obey and will turn back, therefore I will put them to the test first, and those found faithful, diligent, firm in My Word will be selected. I shall send them out to conquer, but they shall not go out as many did before them. They shall carry each one a lamp, the fire of My Holy Spirit; they shall each be filled with My Spirit and shout praises unto their God, proclaiming the victory through faith. They shall sound the trumpet and shall trust in Me with their whole heart; they shall be certain of the victory in their hearts; they shall stand firm and believe that I will go before them and confound their enemies. They shall be a mighty light upon the mountain, a symbol of faith and victory. They shall win Me a great victory! Their enemies will scatter in fear before the sons of God, full of power and glory. They shall bring a great victory of souls that shall be loosed by the enemy as he flees before them. They will collect these captives for Me. They shall rescue them and set them free from bondage, to serve Me. With great rejoicing shall they serve Me, with great tears of joy, for they have sought freedom, and found no one with the power to free them. They shall worship the God of this army. My sons and daughters, they shall see My power and My love in you, and they will embrace Me. They will see what a mighty God you serve, and I will have Me the victory. Lo, this comes to pass quickly; I shall quickly bring the test upon My people; I will quickly send forth fire to fill My chosen ones to go forth, for the captives await; they cry out because of their chains. My people have not heard their cries; they have not moved in faith; they have not believed, and the enemy has overrun them. They have retreated and allowed the enemy to enslave many. They are fearful and unbelieving and will not face the enemy, many of them. It is time! I will select My army of the faithful ones and I shall by My Spirit, set the captives free! Prepare your hearts to be tested, My people, and enter into prayer and repentance. Humble yourselves and seek Me, that you might be found worthy to be in My army. Quickly it comes, for it is time; the time of man runs out. Lo, surely the wedding will begin, and My bride is not prepared, not complete. There are more yet to come in, but it must be done quickly for the time comes. Many of those that are waiting to be called, are in bondage, waiting to hear yet of Me. I will not lose them; if My people will not use what I have given them to seek out My lost sheep, I will choose the faithful ones still, and send them out in new strength and new power to find and set free the lost sheep who wait for Me.” Scrip. Will God Find Faith When He Returns?   5/21/89

The Lord spoke and told me and said: “You must write these things I tell you, for My heart is very heavy concerning My people. Tell My people I am coming soon. I am coming for My bride, but now is the time of testing. My Father will test My people to see which are worthy to be My bride, to see which will be faithful until the end. My people are are not ready for this test. They walk in the flesh more than in the Spirit. Remember the night of trial when I was taken and My disciples scattered? Peter had said he would never deny Me. He believed what he said, but in the hour of testing his actions did not verify his words. So are My people today. They believe they are dedicated to Me and they will remain faithful, but they have spoken these words when it has been easy to say these things. Now they will be called upon, even as was Peter and My disciples, to prove their words with actions. Now they must live what they have said. For that reason I said: “Will the Son of man find faith upon the earth when He returns?” On the night of trial, the night I was betrayed, no man stood by Me. My faithful ones, in words, were not there at My side. Oh, what of you, My people? Awake! For the trial comes upon you. Will you also deny Me? Will you do as the rich man, cling to your possessions? If you are not willing to give up all, even your life, you are an unfaithful bride, and not worthy to be My bride says the Lord. Oh, but it is My desire that all of you would remain faithful and be My bride! I would not want to lose any one of you, but the test is not for Me, for my heart is faithful to you; the test is for you to see if you will likewise be faithful to Me. If you walk in the flesh, governed by your desires, you will fail. Fear will overtake you, and you will flee. I have given you My Spirit to comfort you, to teach you, to help you overcome. But you must now put forth the effort to be filled with this precious oil of the Holy Spirit. You must be diligent in prayer and discipline your flesh; submitting yourselves to be governed by My Spirit. For if you walk by the Spirit, the flesh will not over rule you. You will not let go of the high calling, for by the Spirit you will see the eternal reward much greater than the temporal stress you must endure. Such does My Father seek out to be My bride. What is more important in your life than to be Mine? Even be it unto death, fear not, for I am the resurrection and the life; He that believes in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live. Do not draw back, My people. Set your eyes upon Me, shutting your eyes to everything else, and hold fast. Fear not the trial, rather, keep in mind the reward. Be faithful, for faithful is He who has called you.”Scrip. Ref: I Pet. 1:3-9; I Pet. 4:12-13

 

Message Concerning China   6/03/89

The Lord spoke concerning the circumstances in China. “Tell My people to pray, for many of their brethren are being persecuted for their faith. The devil wishes to quench the freedom of the movement of My Spirit to bring forth revival. Many of your brothers will sacrifice their lives for the freedom to worship Me. But what will I say of you, who have not interceded for them? Take heed, for the day may soon be upon you that you also need the intercession of faithful brethren; be faithful therefore, and compassionate in heart, and pray for your brothers in China.” Scrip. Ref: Jam. 5:16

 

Keep Your Eyes on Jesus   6/10/89

The Lord spoke and said: “Tell My people to keep their eyes firmly fixed upon Me, as though they had blinders on; even so, they must fix their eyes ahead upon Me. If they take their eyes off of Me, they will fall; if they put their eyes upon themselves, they will fail; if they put their eyes upon another, they shall be deceived. Look to Me alone, My people, and let your eyes be fixed and not wander. Scrip. Ref: Heb. 12:1-2

Walk Humbly with God   6/11/89

The Lord spoke and said: “Warn My people. Tell them to walk humbly before Me, in all humility and faith. For surely they have not understood if pride enters in they shall surely fall, neither do they understand why. One who is prideful has faith in himself. Though he thinks himself to be walking in faith, his faith is placed in the wrong source, a source that will fail. What man is perfect, that stands and does not fall? Only the man who stands in faith in Me alone, for I am able to make him stand. I am his strength. I am strong in the weak; but those who trust in themselves, shall surely fail, for their faith is not pure faith. Pure faith comes from a humble heart; from those who have submitted themselves to Me, knowing that without Me, they are nothing. Their faith is not in their ability, but it My ability, what I can do through them. The prideful man will surely fall, because their faith is not founded on the eternal Rock, but rather on sinking sand, and they shall sink, says the Lord.” Scrip. Ref: Mic. 6:8; Gal. 3:11

 

Message to the Church to Awake   6/12/89

On this day in Los Angeles the ground shook. The Lord called me to prayer, and here is what He said: “Though the ground shakes as a warning, no one heeds the warning. The unbelievers laugh and jest, making light of My warnings. My people feel the earth shake, yet they do not see that it is a reminder for them to intercede for this wicked place. They go on about their business, thanking Me that they are safe, but not thinking of those who will soon perish. Are they both not asleep to the reality? Both have taken the warning lightly. One is being called to repentance and the other to intercession, yet neither heed My call. Neither can see that which approaches, for they have their eyes upon themselves and not on spiritual things. For this reason, My wrath kindles against My people even more that those who do not know Me. For they say they know My ways, yet they walk not in them. They are as the people with Moses in the desert, who called upon Me only when they lacked that which they wanted. They call upon Me for their needs, but forget the needs of others, having not My heart in the matter. When will My people take their eyes off themselves and obey My Spirit? If it is not important to them, they believe it is not important at all. When will you attend to the will of your Father, and what is important to Him? I grow weary with My people for their indifference! My people, My people! How will I guide you, how will you hear My warning if you continue to walk in your flesh? Though I speak to warn you, you hear Me not! Neither do you pause to seek Me; neither are you still before Me that you might hear My voice. Though I speak, your ears are stuffed with words; your minds busy with unprofitable thoughts and My voice does not reach your heart. How will I guide you, when you do not hear My Spirit? You are a stubborn people, educated like no other generation, yet ignorant in your understanding of Me. Much knowledge has dulled your senses, and silenced your ears to hear Me. You have not yet learned to be led by My Spirit and depend upon Me. What shall I do with you? For I cry out, but you hear not. I warn, but you are deaf to the warnings. You are hard and callous and are not easily touched with the thoughts of My heart. A great work lies ahead, but who will perform it? Unless I awake you from your selfish sleep, you will not perform the work. I warn you, you who sleep, for I have shaken you, but you wake not, or you return to sleep. Say not therefore, that your God has not had mercy. For your souls sake, I must awake you, lest you perish, even though the awakening be harsh, for you have not stirred at My gentleness. He who hears these words, be wise and seek Me; awake to the voice of My Spirit, and be attentive, that I will not have to shake you harder, says the Lord.” Scrip. Message to Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York   6/15/89

The Lord spoke and said: “This country is so full of evil, for that reason I will soon send judgment. Los Angeles and San Francisco are like Sodom and Gomorrah, because San Francisco is full of Sodomites, and Los Angeles is like Gomorrah, a place of sin, pleasure, and perversions. In this place they are idolatrous, lovers of money and of the human body. For this reason, I will destroy these two cities, for their great sins which they do, and that they send forth to the world from this place. The Lord also spoke this: “New York City is a type of city like unto Babylon, which all the world admires. There flows the money of the world, but soon they will be destroyed as well for their iniquity if they do not repent. Personal note: God's will is that none should perish, yet wickedness cannot be tolerated forever, if He does not bring judgment on cities which produce perversion and evil under the guise of “entertainment”, and send it out to pollute the minds of young people around the earth, He will have to explain to those who passed through judgment, as in Sodom and Gommorah, as to why they were punished for their wickedness, while others were not.

 

Message to New York City   7/04/89

The Lord spoke to me concerning the New York city area. These are the words He spoke: “The hearts of the people are like unto the heart of pharaoh. Surely, I have called, and they have not responded. Therefore, has My hand been upon them in judgment. For I have allowed to come upon them the plague, even the death angel. Tell them the death angel is in their streets. They see it, but have not understood. Yes, it shall even be as a great epidemic, for they have refused Me; therefore, will this curse tighten its grip upon them even more. In fear, pharaoh and his people finally gave heed to My warnings, but only when death had touched their households. So shall it be, for they are a stubborn people and will not look to Me any other way Tell My people to be ready, for there will be a short time for them to reach those who will humble themselves through fear and seek Me. A short time only, for they will swiftly repent of this attitude and their hearts shall harden once again. Then will I bring My people out from them, for surely those who have not sought Me, or whom return back to their old ways, shall become as the chariots of pharaoh, swallowed up in destruction. Great signs have been done before their eyes, and yet greater still shall they see. They shall have no excuse, for even the hardest of cities in times past, had they seen the signs and wonders, and heard the Word preached with such power, would have repented. Behold, My grace and mercy has been upon you, and even in mercy do I still reach out to you. Still I provoke you to seek Me that your souls might yet be saved. But your time of grace comes swiftly to an end.”Personal note: Sept. 11, 2001-an event that gave the nation a great “wake-up” call. In the first few weeks, people were flooding churches, seeking the Lord. Even political leaders were calling on the Lord, and everywhere signs read: “God Bless America”. Church attendance was way up, but within 3 weeks, it fell back to normal, and then began to decline. God has kept this nation safe since, but the continued rejection of the things of God, the deliberate acts to remove God from this nation, will bring a greater destruction.

 

The Times of Trial    7/21/89

I saw this vision of people crawling on their hands and knees with their tongues hanging out, as if they were dying of thirst and had no strength left to stand to their feet and walk. Then I saw a few people who seemed unaffected walking in this crowd of people who were crawling. It was a dry time, where little strength could be found, but these few people walked swiftly, in new strength, carrying a Bible under their arms. Then the Lord spoke and said: “My people faint now in times of plenty, how will they stand when the times of great want arrive? If they languish in the face of the soldiers of the enemy, how will they stand in front of the leaders of the enemy? They have not yet learned to believe. They have not yet learned to stand upon My Word. They are in great danger. Surely, they will perish and fall away, unless they send their root deeper into the things of God now. The great times of trial approaches, yet My people have not prepared. They have believed that soon it shall be all over, yet they do not understand that soon it shall all begin. Yeah, I come; My promise is true, but the days before My coming shall be like none other. You must be planted firmly in faith, firmly in My Word. I have warned you, but you have not believed. I have said so in My Word, but you do not like the sound of what you have heard, so you ignore it, hoping that it shall go away, and not be so. Awake, and realize that you cannot dream the days yet to come away. They will come; it would be better if they come upon you finding you prepared, then that they catch you unaware. Your unbelief, and your laziness, My people, will destroy you; unless you rise, and shake off the spirit of heaviness and begin to walk in the light of My Word, and not by sight alone. These things I say unto you now, while there is yet time, but the time is drifting away slowly, and soon it will not be possible for you to stand any longer; you will crawl and suffer defeat after defeat by your enemy. I have given you the way to victory, but you must walk in it. You might fight the good fight of faith in order to win the great prize that is set before you.” Scrip. Ref: I Pet. 4:12-13; 2 Tim. 2:1-4
