As I was seeking the Lord, He revealed to me the great danger this nation is in. There are many that would like to see our nation fall. The Lord spoke this to me: “One that is considered an ally is waiting to stab you in the back at a moment of weakness. They have never forgiven or forgotten the events of the past.” He did not tell me who this ally is.

 

Hard Times Are Coming          11/11/2002

The Lord woke me with the sound of an alarm ringing. I though at first it was my alarm clock, but it was not. I felt the presence of the Lord and realized that He had woken me. I went to my knees to seek his presence and to hear what it was He wanted to say. This is what the Lord said: “These times have become as a whirlwind. Do you see how the leaves are caught up by the wind, spun around and then scattered in all directions? This is how these times are. The fulfillment of all things is coming rapidly, cascading down one thing upon another. It is happening so fast, that many do not perceive it. My people have singular vision. They look in one direction, to the horizon, to the future. They are not looking at what is already in motion, gathering in strength against them, all around them. They see things as being far off and therefore think they have time yet. I tell you, the enemy has strengthened against you. He has camped round about you and is preparing an assault that you are not ready for, my people. Will it take you by surprise so much so that you will be caught in the whirlwind and scattered as the leaves are? Open your eyes and see what the reality of the spiritual world is. Look and you will see how one thing is leading to another, and the enemy is at the door!” Then I saw this huge red scaled dragon. It was breathing smoke out of its nostrils. It was so large that when it took a step, the earth trembled. I saw people as small as the size of a mouse before this dragon. They scattered and fled, most of them, but some tried to attack this creature. He shook them off as if they were nothing. The Lord then spoke saying: “In you singleness you are small and unable to prevail. You are one body and must join together and become one body, the body of Christ, in order to prevail against this enemy. Your lack of unity and love for one another will be your weakness.” I then saw what appeared like millions of cells coming together and forming one large body. The body was the body of Christ. He was much bigger than the dragon. When the dragon saw Jesus, he began to tremble and to seek to flee and hide in a cave from the presence of the Lord. “My people are busy seeking everything else but what is important. They are in need of my Holy Spirit, and they seek the out pouring promised in the word, from time to time, but they do not seek it with the hunger and thirst that is necessary in order to receive it. When you are hungry enough, you will receive. You have yet to realize how important it is that you come with your whole heart into my presence to receive. You have not learned the secret of being still and listening to my voice. You need me more than you realize. When you find yourself surrounded on all sides, then you will race around trying to make up for the time you have wasted. I am your refuge from the coming storm. This storm is forming all around you, yet instead of taking refuge now, you are busy doing and doing, waiting until the last minute to enter in. Do you not know that the storm is on the horizon? You think you have plenty of time to seek my face, to hide yourself in Me. You have not understood how severe the winds of this storm are and how suddenly they will be upon you. I call to you, but you do not hear. You say: “I will; I will”, but continue on doing what you are doing, planning to eventually obey and come, but not just yet. These words are harsh for you to receive because you do not want to hear them. You want to believe that it is a false alarm, and that all will pass over, things will go on the same as they always have. What you want to believe is not reality. You will suffer greatly; you will be put in harm's way if you choose not to listen. They you will cry out to Me: “Why did you allow this to happen?” Even then, you will not realize that I tried to warn you ahead of time. I have made provision for you. I am your refuge, a safe harbor in the storm. You will have to stop doing what pleases you and give up your control in order to enter into my refuge. Stop running around in circles and learn to be still in my presence! Make time to seek Me and I will guide you in the times of crisis. On your won strength, you will not be able to find a solution or a way out of what is to come. To reason that it will not happen is a foolish waste of time. I desire to protect you and keep you form being lost in the storm. You do not understand why this is coming. You believe that it is not possible that I would allow these things to come to pass. You are looking with an eye on the present good; I am looking at the eternal good. You will not understand that which is coming, but you must trust Me. All that I do, all that I allow, is for the good of mankind, for their ultimate salvation. It may be unpleasant for the moment, but I am not being guided by the moment, but by me eternal knowledge of good. Do not question what you do not understand, and don not doubt my love. My thoughts towards you are to do good to your souls even at the cost of your flesh. This will be a hard thing for you to understand, and many will fall away because they did not trust in Me. If you are hidden in Me, you will be kept in peace through it all. You will be guided by my Spirit and not by fear. You will understand that nothing can separate you from my love, and you will overcome and endure. As a body, you will have power to prevail against the enemy, that you do not have on your own, and that power is the prayer of faith in agreement. You will find strength as you suffer together and comfort one another. The affliction around you will serve to unite you in a common cause. This is why it is necessary that these trials are permitted, in order for you to become serious about your relationship to Me and to your brothers and sisters. It is important that you love one another, that you unite together as one body. You have not done this on your own. Circumstances of survival will compel you to do what you would not do in times of peace and plenty. All of this is working on your behalf for your own well being as well as that of the church. In the end, you will understand and be thankful. You will obtain the knowledge of Me in the midst of it all. This is the great pearl, the great reward, that I have told you about, to know Me and my peace, that passes all understanding. These things I desire to give to you, but you are not seeking for them with your whole heart. The storm that approaches will cause you to seek after Me in order to receive these greater things. This is why I tell you that it is for your good that these things will be permitted. Do not grieve, my children, for in all things I am with you. I have promised to never leave you or forsake you, and so it is. You may feel that you are abandoned, but you are not. My eye is upon you at every instant, and I will guide your feet, if you will but surrender and allow Me to.”
